Family Tree

This Tab leads to information on the family containing over two thousand members and 65 families. Hopefully you will have questions that can be forwarded to the address to be found under Tab "Contacts". Also under the Tab "Family Tree you will find another Tab "Chart" this shows the chart of the known ancestors, The full family chart is far to big to display but if you would like a copy of your section of the family tree forward an email to "Contact" and the chart will be sent by reply email. Mccullough Irish (especially Ulster): Anglicized form of the Gaelic surname Mac Cú Uladh, a patronymic from Cú Uladh ‘hound of Ulster’. Compare McNally, which is from Mac Con Uladh, genitive form of the same name. It has sometimes been erroneously associated with Gaelic cullach ‘wild boar’, and some families in County Sligo have translated it into English as Boar. .

pronounced My family have always pronounced their name mc-Cull-a. Even though its looks like it should be pronounced Mc-Cul-lock. Our pronunciation appears to be closer to the Gaelic pronunciation.
